The last three months of 2000 Bart Drost is working in the EKWC (European Ceramic Work Centre) in Den Bosch. In stead of pencil and paper he uses clay as sketching material during this period. The result: about twenty miniature models with colourful glazing and twelve transparantly glazed sculptures. Eventually the models turn out to be exercises for nine figures with gold glazing en three blue statues of men, all to be seen in the installation The Golden Boys Party. The ceramic sculptures are accompanied by 'orangeailles' , acrylic paintings on canvas from 1992 and 1993.
